Collection of Books

Here is a collection of books that I have found helpful over the years, plus my book on self massage.  By clicking the links below you open a new page (If it doesn't open, check your pop-up blocker). Disclaimer: I only earn income from the first three books (those written by Dr. Jason Cain), I have no financial incentive for any of the other books.

  • Art of Self-Massage

Unlock the Power of Proper Self Massage Techniques!

After years of having patients comment that they wish they had heard about how to perform self massage to themselves and how it may have helped them before more serious injury occurred, I decided to write a book. There is a kindle edition as well as a hard copy

  • Art of Exercise

A selection of my favorite exercises. The book is broken into 3 main sections: base level exercise that everyone should do, but doesn’t; intermediate exercise that can work for almost everyone (variances are presented for many of the exercises); and lastly stretches that help the most common injuries. The introduction also discusses some basic ergonomics which everyone should be thinking about. Available on kindle as well as hard copy.

  • Mosaic of Exercise and Massage

A combination of “The Art of Exercise” and “The Art of Self-Massage.” The book is printed in black and white for those who want both great books, but at a discounted price. There is not a kindle version, hard copy only

  • Trigger Point Flip Chart

This flip chart is a good quick reference for yourself and a good way to explain trigger points to your patients. There are 2 books (Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction: The Trigger Point Manual Vol 1 and 2) that give much more of a detailed description of trigger points and symptoms.

  • Living Life to the Fullest with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

A great book about understanding Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and treatment progression for patients. If you are unaware of what this syndrome is please feel free to contact me or buy this book.

  • Anatomy Trains

This is a great book about the connections within the body, you can track connections from the foot to the head. If there are restrictions along the track, restrictions can arise further up/down the track. It really changes the way that you think about the body and treatment.
